Hey everyone.

As you may have noticed the host of the EmoticonOpus contest changes every couple weeks. This is so that different people from the community get a chance to run a contest. This helps keep the ideas fresh and gives you a chance to run something in the community.

Our list of people to host future Opus contests is now empty, so we are doing a shout out to see if we can once again get a queue of hosts ready to go.

While running an opus contest you will be responsible for:

1) Launching the theme.
2) Assisting in collecting prizes.
3) Accepting or Denying submissions to the group.
4) Closing the contest on time
5) Judging the entries.
6) Announcing the winners and contacting prize contributors.

It's here I ask that you only apply if:

1) You want to run opus. Please don't sign up on the basis you will do it if no one else wants to.
2) You have a good idea prior to the time you get the account (You don't have to have one now, but once becoming host a contest needs to be posted in a day or so)
3) You are free enough to run a contest for 2 weeks (plus time to judge at the end).
